Introduction

The European Under-15 and Under-17 Championship will take place in the Complex Mas Sant Josep, an attractive holiday resort located in Cristina d'Aro, in the province of Girona (Spain).

The Tourist Complex Mas San Josep has a sports complex with 7 Squash Courts regulated under the rules of the WSF.

 

 

 

 

 

Accomodation

BUNGALOWS

The complex offers the possibility of spending the night in wooden cabins fully equipped, 200 meters away from the courts.

2 Types of Cabins:

1. A Cabin for 6 people: Three rooms, a small living room, a bathroom, shower and toilet.

2. A Cabin for 4 people: two rooms, a small living room, a kitchen, a bathroom, shower and toilet.

The teams should choose what kind of cabin they would like. The resort complies with all laws and regulations for all its facilities, It ´s the ideal place to organize tournaments. The boys and girls enjoy an unforgettable setting, healthy and fun, perfect for relaxation between hard matches

Meals

Players will enjoy the Mediterranean food, and particularly the Catalan food.
Menus will be rich in carbohydrates, cooked with a lot of enthusiasm for the tournament.



Meal Time

Breakfast: 7.30 until 9.30

Lunch: 13.00 until 16.30

Dinner: 19.00 until 23.00





Time Frame

It is proposed that the Team Managers’ and Coaches’ meeting will take place in the Club at 20:00 hrs on Wednesday, 6 May 2008.

Opening Ceremony: 7 may 2009 at 09.00 hrs.

Matches are scheduled to start on Thursday, 7 May 2009 at 10:00 hrs.

The departure day will be Sunday, 10 May 2009 (after the Prizegiving Ceremony).

Gerona airport is an airport that has grown over 300% in the last 5 years. It's located just 15 km from the Tourist Complex Mas Sant Josep. Moreover, Ryanair, the most important low cost airline in Europe, has its second most important base (after London-Stansted) in Gerona, offering flights to more than 54 international airports in Europe. In short, the best option is the airport of Gerona, because it is near, prices are low-cost, and there are many destinations to which the various competing countries can reach the event.

If you are going to fly to Barcelona airport, please contact the organisers first.

• Teams arriving at Girona Airport or Barcelona Airport will be picked up and transferred to the club for registration and then transferred to the accommodation.
• Dinner on Wednesday, 6 May 2009 will be served between 19:00 and 22:30 hrs.
• Transfer from the airport to the squash club takes approximately 20 minutes from Girona Airport (50 minutes from Barcelona's Airport).
• The departure day is Sunday, 10th May 2009
